WRT54G keeps freezing?

Within the past couple weeks my router has been freezing and the only way to fix it is to reset to factory defaults. Thought at first router has become defective. But once I've reset router it works fine for a few days and suddenly freezes again. I've already upgraded firmware to latest rev. Ran anti-virus check, use Mac OS, Windows 2000 and Windows XP on computers in my home network.

I don't have a cordless phone, it's hardwired and I have WPA enabled using 26 char pass key.

I would suggest you change the channel to 11 and move your cordless phone base as far away as possible. Set up wireless security just in case someone is messing with you.
