When someone says..."Don't take it personally"?

Do you immediatly take it personally? Seems like I always do!

if they say it, it usually is directly at you, not always but sometimes

Yes, take the word personally, but the subj of the word, something u don't need to consider seriously or put your attention much to it

Thats usually a precursor to someone saying something personal. My personal fav is the way people say "I'm not racist but..." before saying something racist.

yeah, it pretty much works that way for me too..... Because it seems that person says something that they know I will take personally....
