How many people have had problems since taking their gallbladder out?

I have had weird problems since having my gallbladder removed. Some symptoms include heartburn (which I never had before), food sensitivities/allergies, palpitations, anxiety, hypoglycemia, just to name a few.

I was just curious how many more out there have experienced problems, too.

You didn't mention your age, weight, whether or not you are diabetic, nor had allergies prior to your surgery.

Most people experience some indigestion, after gall bladder removal, helped with an antacid. But the rest of the items you mentioned are not related to a gall bladder removal. Had mine out by laproscopy about 10 years ago, and except for some slight indigestion occasionally, not nearly the problem as was the pain, and possible erosion of what the gallstones were going to do. People used to die of this condition....... they don't any longer. And done laproscopically, got to go home the next day.

I had my gallbladder taken out at 27 and the only problems I ever had were gaining weight. If you have heartburn, then try taking maalox, which is usually recommended, and if that doesn't cure your heartburn, then maybe you should see a doctor and pass tests just to be sure. I had the same feeling after the surgery and the doctor recommended certain foods because some foods were harder to digest at first. Hope this helps.
