i have my contact list ready but some contacts have comments - add pending request. what should i do or what should i tell them to do in order to activate their account with me?

When ur contacts come online, they will see your add request. If they r ready to talk to you through yahoo messenger, then they'll accept your request. After they add you, u both will be able to chat with each other. :)

They will add you when they are on line, if they want to add you. You have done your part and as soon as they are on line, your request will popup,
