It is uncooked usually made with eggs. It it sat out then you could get sick.

I eat cookie dough all the time, but in moderation.
You don't describe your symptoms.
By 'sick' do you mean nauseous, bloated, vomiting and diarrhea? If you overindulge in cookie dough, because it is raw, it can give you a bloated crampy feeling.

almost anything can grow bacteria,especially if not handled correctly..
