You may try HOT water,but it will not shrink that much more......

Hot water will shrink it for sure, warm shouldn't, but I always wash my cotton clothes in cold, just to be safe, and hang dry them. The dryer will shrink it for sure.

yes, try hot water and dry it extra long, but it won't shrink much like something woolen would.
