Firmly grasp bottom of banana with your un-dominant hand.
With your dominant, hold the stem at the top of the banana with you thumb and index finger like when you open a can (see page 4 for pop-top opening cans).
Push the stem back until it breaks at the neck of the banana, and pull down.
Peel away separate sections.
Eat at your own preferred pace and bite-size.
