It gives you a deep understanding of what God meant when he said: Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. Over time you grow to know each other deeply. You are no more the person you were before you were married but have similar thoughts, experiences, wants, needs, ware fares & turmoil’s, etc... You become in twined emotionally, spiritually & ,if you bare children, physically.
It is worth any trouble you may go thru getting there. It is not alway easy.

I would think it would feel wonderful! I don't have that, but I saw my Grandparents, whom I was very close to, be married for 55 years. They had 4 kids, went through the depression, moved cross country from New York to California, leaving family, lucrative work, and everything they knew, but through it all, their love was so wonderful to be around! It was like a light that radiated around everyone who was lucky enough to see and feel it. I loved to see the teasing and laughter and hugging and just gentle touches and eye contact that conveyed so much between them. I think they knew each other so well, that they knew what the other was thinking. A long time relationship like that builds so much trust. The ones that are lucky enough to be together for that long with the love of a lifetime are truly blessed!

We have 7 years to go. It's always a new adventure.
Our next adventure is we are building a new house on Vancouver Island. It will be a great place to retire in a few years.

Haven't made it to forty yet, but I imagine it feels pretty darn good.
Like winning a marathon.
After feeling so bad for eating a donut earlier that morning.
Or maybe it's like feeling comfortable in your own skin and then you realize, "hey, it's our skin."
Two winks and a smile.

I am close, 37 years and it is deeper and more loving everyday. The kids are grown and it's just us in the house now. We love it... We still say I love you everyday and enjoy each others company very much...It's the best time of our lives.
