he might he is in 7th in the points right now and there is 4 more COT races left in the season and his best finish in the COT car was 7 which wast last week but one a good note he is racing on a track he won on last year but if he stays on track and does not get in trouble on the track he will win it might come down to the wire but every one still haves a shot so yes he might win the cup I HOPE HE DOES...Show more

As much as Kenseth is having a great season, I don't want to call it... We still have California and Richmond coming up, and with the current points, it's close between the number one and two spot. He's still seven points behind Jimmie Johnson, so those two can run neck and neck for the rest of the season. Kenseth is also 314 points ahead of third place Kevin Harvick right now. As an avid #17 freak I can ,to only my dismay say no. I don't know why he's having such a hard time with his car. Hendrick & childress racing have obviously did more to perfect the cot. Roush racing is behing in the developement dept. Once the get more dialed in. look out. Mabey next year. Look out for Danny Hamlin though. Wisconsin boy for Matt Go 17. ok so why cant people other than matt kenseth people reply? I am a Kasey Kahne fan but Matt Kenseth is onw heck of a driver and I have consistently had him on my fantasy teams. I wouldn't mind at all seeing Matt win. But my response apparently won't count because I am a Kahne fan....Show more
