Cancer last resort help?

My friend has complete chemo, but cancer has spread on. wants to volunteer himself for cancer drug clinical trial. how to go about registering himself for the above purpose. As far as we know, from the media, there is a Abbott Labs' ABT-869 Phase II trial for end-stage lung cancer patients to be held in Singapore, which is neighbouring Malaysia. We would greatly appreciate urgent responses since Alfred is running out of time and money.

Name: Alfred J
Nationality: Malaysian
Age:19 years old
Sex:Male

Cancer (sarcoma) started at right knee cap and operated at 18 years old. One year after operation, cancer had spread to right thigh, and then to both lungs. Chemotherapy started in July, August, Sept 2007 not effective against cancer spread. Doctor said cancer very aggressive and now in 4th stage. Alfred is a college student studying final year in "Mass Communications" and is willing to take part in clinical trial for a chance to survive. His doc says there is no hope left.

This is very sad. In the US there are sites you can go to that list all clinical trials. I'm not sure what there is where you are but I'm quite sure there is a similar system. Just google clinical trials sarcoma and you will come up with resources. He does not actually have lung cancer even though it has spread to his lungs so a lung cancer trial will not do. Good luck.

Ps. His primary cancer is not in the lung (it has metatised from another source) so the trial will not work anyway. Plus he has other cancer in his body so that will continue to spread and grow.
