Yeh there is a glitch in the network. In some cases the site should redirect you to an "error" page, describing what's happening with Yahoo Mail.
If there is no glitch, go to your Control Panel and edit your mail client.

Go into control panel then into programs. Check and make ceratin that Yahoo is still your default mail carrier.

I had it yesterday. Today it came back fresh and spruce! Looking new.
And they had an interesting note: something like they were sorry... urgent bells maybe ringing and there would be activity to rectify the problem.
