Because there are certain jerks which keep reporting any legitimate questions and answers and Yahoo automatically deletes them. Your answer does violate anything whatsoever, you just answer a question "I do not".

Good question.

Yahoo actually has a rule that an answer is required to adress the question.

Example:

What color is the sky?

Answer: I like airplaines.

Although "I like airplanes." is not, naturally, offensive, it fails to adress the question in a mildly sufficient manner. If readers flag it, yahoo has a mechanism that will remove your answer or question (sometimes without any authorized person actually checking it and pulling the plug on it, I gather).
Flags are a system and you can't flag if you abuse it and flag inappropriately, menacingly. (I think it downgrades the value of a flag when it comes from someone who flags inappropriately). Yahoo's mechanism has a way of checking your pattern of flagging people too.

Long answer, but, "I do not." is almost the same as just answering someone's question by typing "Hello."

Naturally, it probably attracted a lot of flags.

I don't know either, the name of the song, but if I wanted to answer, I would have contributed "I'm thinking of elvis and a casino for some reason."

Whatever comes to mind is sometimes helpful.
And it is not likely I would have been flagged, even though I didn't really know the answer either.

There is no explanation for why YA deletes anything. Nobody folllows the guidelines anyway. Basically, someone who hates you reported your answer, and since YA never investigates reports, they simply deleted your answer and sent you that email. If you ever do ask them why, they will feed you full of bovine excrement about how they can't talk about it anyway, since letting you actually know would violate their total absence of follow up.

Because it is not a real answer. It would be considered point gaming (answering anything just to get the points).

The only reason to respond to this question is to suggest the name of the song they are referring to.

I think they delete answers that don't provide a good response to the question. It's kind of pointless to have a bunch of answers that don't give any information.
