You can try this website maybe it can help www.paxilprogress.org. I find most of these drugs to be very dangerous. Since it deals with the mind and not the body if you have a side effect most people would be unaware of it. If you had a side effect and the medication was for your body and lets say your hand turned green and fell off you could say look a side effect. Some side effect can be subtle say turning down a job offer you normally wouldn't . Some side effects could show up down the line. You take a great risk if your not aware of your mind and how it operates. These psych drugs can cause you alot of problems.

Iv been an antidepressants on and off for years. I started with zoloft, which did nothing. Prozac was good for anxiety and anger symptoms, but the best Iv ever had was welbutrin. It was like my life was the way it was meant to be. I was acually HIGH on life. I felt energetic, happy, I was laughing again, and making jokes, I was sleeping realy well, and there was a big difference in the way I handled stressful situations. I loved the alive again feeling. My insurance ran out so I dont take it now, but Im on st johns wort, after extensive research. Iv been on it for 3 weeks and am now feeling the effects. Its not quite as good yet, as the welbutrin, but getting there. Im not a dr. but I thought you might like to hear from a real person. By the way, Paxil was the worst for me...I was sleepy all the time, and had NO feelings of any kind. Good luck...

There are many (as others have indicated) for moderate depression.

For acute severe depression, MAO Inhibitors are used. (like Nardil)
