Since there are 50 states in the USA,why don't we hear certain all stations, see below?

reporting on Alaska and Haiwaii?Since there are crimes all over United States, I have never heard of anything in these 2 states.Anybody else heard of anything from these two states? I usually have to look stuff up on the internet.

I rarely hear news ever come from Wyoming, Montana, Maine and Arkansas.... Hawaii, Alaska and the other states I mentioned have low populations. Not much news comes from states with low populations.

Okay.. Alaska is basically Canada and Hawaii used to be a banana plantation where the most news that comes out of it is the earth puking on it.

Doesn't make for good news either way you look at it.
