Tony Romo or Derek Anderson?

I'm in a salary cap league where I've got Brady as my starting QB. But, I have enough salary cap room to pick up a second QB in my flex position. I know the QBs have lit up the fantasy scoreboard. And, I can afford Tony Romo against the Eagles or Derek Anderson against the Seahawks. Who should I go with and why? Serious, thoughtful answers only please.

I think you have to go with Romo, he is coming off of a bye week and just signed a big contract. The bye week has allowed him 2 weeks to prepare for the Eagles and I believe will be even more relaxed after finally signing a long term deal. Not to mention Romo is really the better talent. Last but not least... I really think the Cowboys/Eagles game may turn into a shootout which really benefits all fantasy football players involved. Match that with a similar type shootout that many are predicting in Indianapolis and you are in for a stellar week at the Qb position.

If you can afford either one, you should go with Romo. If you take out his one game with 5 int's he would be the 3rd best QB in fantasy leagues. Anderson has had a great start, but I think he going to have an off week.

Looking at the matchups would favor Anderson, but you can't always rely on this. I think this week Romo is going to come out slinging to proof he deserves the contract he just signed Monday. Lets not forget that Terrell would love nothing more than to destroy his former team!

Good luck of course if you have Brady you don't need much!!

GO with Anderson all the way, the team def sucks so they have to throw to ball to win games, they are in contention for the playoffs so they have to win games, I dont see Dallas struggling this week to beat Philly at all, go with the hot hand, I sure am and it is paying off big,

Every year someone steps up and people still ignore it, this year Its Derek Anderson, 2nd in the league in TD's

Very tough since I don't like either of them. Tony is good but overrated as he throws a lot of INTs. Anderson is doing so well but who knows if the bubble will burst soon. He only has played a few games so far.

If I had to choose, I would take Romo because his team is good and he has a LOT of good targets to throw to.

I say you go with Anderson. He's hot right now and I wouldn't gamble Romo against Philly's secondary. Seattle on the other hand has no secondary and Anderson has Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards who are doing great right now.
