Did you scare away any demons tonight?
'Twas all Hallow's Eve... the night before All Saint's Day. And supposedly the purpose is to scare away all the demons then usher in the saints. Did you?
I cleansed the house with sage, too.
Set out 3 pumpkins, a caged ghoul that shouts, black tunnel-like coverings around my porch, cobwebs across the entire front of the house, huge spiders hanging, and a KEEP OUT!!! sign on my door. Then I sat in the shadows dressed in black, holding candles in one hand and a bowl of candy for the brave in the other. I overheard comments like "this house is creepy" and "don't go up there, it says keep out". MAUH HA HA!
