My 2000 Infiniti G20t drivers side power windows has problems.?

Whenever I open the window they can go completely down however the problem is when I put them back up. The glass goes all the way up then goes back down 2 inches and stays there. I have to click the controls little by little until it closes properly. I'd like to know whether I should replace the motor or window switch assembly. I need advise from all Nissan & Infinti Techs out there. Thanks.

check the car's computer, if nothing show's take the door panel off and check the wire connectors for the switches and motor
