It is quite obvious that the PNM will win the Elections by a land slide. Honestly People wanted a change and we were looking forward for the COP to do something about it. But when they started talking about unity talks with the Power Hungry UNC A , the people began to waver and wonder why does he want to join this confusing party.
In spite of what is going on people decided to look at the advantages and disadvantages of the Govt.
We have free Education up to Tertiary level and other programmes to empower ourselves as a people and that says alot.
I can come from a very poor home and once I have the ambition and support. I can get a free education from the Gov't and take myself out of poverty.
The Food prices it's we the people who have to protest and boycott from buying foods for just a week and you will see the changes. But again that's only talk. We need to get up and do it in order to achieve change for alot of things including crime and the health situation.
We as a people have to utilise our resources that are there and not being used and get ahead by doing what is right for ALL PEOPLE of Trinidad and Tobago. Thank You.
i think that UNC-A will win. While COP does split the vote this giving PNM a higher chance of winning, I am confident that UNC will win.
COP has alot of support but what people have to realize is while the majority of these people are eligible to vote, they don't have IDs and thus can't vote anyway.
I respected COP because they said new politics but last night just changed everything. Could you imagine, they went around St. Augustine and said that there was deal with UNC-A and to vote COP alone. They lie to get votes. Let's not even mention that brain wash ad - "Put your X by the circles"
I will admit that PNM for sure was winning two months ago, but alot has changed. UNC-A has a very high chance of winning and even if they don't oh well, God save TnT from the PNM.

honestly, i wnat PNM to win elections - even though Manning does get meh realllll mad sometimes. At one time i would have said COP but then Dookeran start doing the same things Panday doing so i really cant vote for either of them. So is PNM again.
and surprisingly all the young voters who in previous elections would have said that politics not bothering them and would not have gone out and vote, they have all gone out from the opening of polls to cast their ballots.
So two things: 1. no matter who you supporting, go out and vote, have a say. 2. and remember, we have to live with each other tomorrow so forget the animousity of elections.
Ohh, to the guy above me, you dont have to have an id to vote, as long as you have registered to vote (so that you name is on the revised list of electors) and you have identification (DP, PP, or ID) you can vote.
I do believe the COP has a huge amount of silent supporters who vote based on issues as opposed to race and who provides the best rally entertainment. I also think that their support base is largely underestimated. The possibility of them winning the election is high in my opinion.
