iPod help -can't add new songs.?

Everything was great the first few times I added songs to my iPod Nano. Now, each time I try to add/erase songs I use the USB cord that came with it and my computer does nothing. It just charges the iPod. I have upgraded to the new version of iTunes and I even tried MediaMonkey. I tried restarting the computer, I tried turning off the iPod, I tried putting it into different USB ports. I even tried to upload the songs on my other desktop but it just charges my iPod like my other computer. I tried troubleshooting in the iTunes but it didn't help. I'm not sure what to do. I CAN stil listen to the songs on my iPod I just can't upload new songs!

Is there anyone that can help me? Thank you:).

(I've posted this question in another forum without any answers, I am really looking for some help. Thank you!)

The first user suggested deleteting songs. I don't know how to delete songs because I don't see the option to do that in the iPod and when I insert it into the computer it is as if it is not recognized (iTunes nor MediaMonkey has it listed in their program nor does "My computer"). In my "about" information it states the following: 77 songs, 0 photos, capacity 1.7 GB, avaliable 1.2 GB, Version 1.1.3. I am using Windows XP. It was working two times previous when I used the iPod to upload songs, now I can't upload please help! :'(

Go onto your information screen on your Nano, and check on how full it is. Chances are, you've already filled it to maximum capacity. I had that problem once when I had filled my Nano with songs. Delete a few and try again.

perhaps you reached the track cap or ran out of memory on the iPod. otherwise, it ought to probable be a utility/hardware difficulty. attempt resetting the iPod. Unhook the usb cable from the iPod, and carry Menu and the middle button till the reveal blanks out and is going to the apple kind.
