Do you answer questions without reading others answers ~see details below~?

and give as honest and sincere of an answer? Or do you read others answers first and then go with the flow of how others answered? Honesty please.
99% of the time I read the question and answer it from my heart and soul. But that 1% that is so far out there I have to check to see if this is for real or a total joke!!!

I don't know why you think this is an either/or situation. If I couldn't (a) read other answers, then (b) give an honest answer without "going with the flow," I'd be brain-dead. How's that for honesty?

As for potentially fraudulent questions, if I think the question isn't for real, but it sounds like somebody who is reading it might relate to it, I might answer it (the "truth is stranger than fiction" possibility). You never know who you're really going to help.

Depending on the number of answers. I will read them. I almost always answer from the heart. I am too old to just go with the flow, if it is not the same as my heart.

I know what you mean! In P&S especially, I have to check other people's answers sometimes, to see the way they go. There was one question I answered a while back, where a woman asked how best to bar the door (without changing the locks) to prevent her husband from coming in. I took it as a joke, and responded as such; then realized that everyone else answered seriously, and changed my answer. You just never know...

Same as you 99% and 1%. I usually read some after I answer.
