I pre-ordered Super Mario Galaxy for my son from Target.com and they sent me an e-mail today informing me that they won't ship the game until December 18. I ordered it almost a month ago and I am wondering if anyone else had the same problem with Target.com.
Why in the heck would I pre-order a game if I wanted to wait for more than a month past the release date to get it? I was going to order a Wii points card as a gift from my brother-in-law from them and they wanted $24.99 for a $20 card. What the heck is up with Target.com lately? I really like their stores but I've had nothing but problems with their web site. Sorry this is a bit of a rant but I'm annoyed. What is a good online retailer for video games?

i understand the frustration, i have been dealing with the headaches as well lately. is it the holidays or the stores customer service that is causing this? i have had good results pre-ordering from gamestop. still, i think the lesson for this is no matter if it's a store you frequent, still shop around. my other frustration is the toys that are exclusive to one store. it makes shopping a hassle when one thing is at target and another at toys r us. by the time i have gotten everything i have wanted i over spent just in gas. (sigh)
I feel your pain. I went online to buy a cd. it was priced 12.99. I get to the store they want 19.99 for it. the guy at the store says the prices are different online to entice a different type of audience.
Like people who shop in real life never shop online. I asked him to HONOR his own price and he wouldnt have it. Target.com sucks badly
When shopping for DS/Wii games, I always check ShopKo and Target since they have great deals at the actual store, but I've never had good experiences with the online ones, be it wal-mart or whatever.
http://www.gamestop.com is reliable and they specialize in gaming, with much better deals.
