How can you make a jpg file smaller?

I have pictures I need to send, but the three total about 6MB. Thanks.

I have downloaded irfan and it works great.

Cut using a left click and drag, then clicking on the scissors.

Then paste onto a new page and save it as a new file, or reuse the old name. Dropped about 80% of the bulk.

There are many programs that will do that.The one I use is picassa,very simple to use and free to download

Giddyup you dont need a gmail account to use it.Go to file and click export to folder,it will then give you options for the size you want it

I'd like to know too. Have Picassa but you have to have a g-mail acct to send from there. It is a photo site.
