Witness Protection Program?
Just curious, do you think any of your neighbors or anyone you know are in the witness protection program? If yes, what makes you think that?

once i lived next door to a house and there were always cars with blackwall tires parked in the cul de sac . couple houses length/lots from the house in question . no one ever saw the people inside the house for about 5 years. blinds stayed shut / lights at times but we were not sure if vacant / set to timers. we delivered invitations to block parties / no one ever came . it became a subject of speculation / gossip.
we were all so busy i'm not sure we put it all together and of course we wouldn't have been able to confirm.
i think we were all just curious / lol / it was a good giggle / we had theories about if they were / and why they were LOL

Swamp, This is going to take a lot of research. I would take this in another direction other than the WPP and the lie that the husband is dead. There are a host of other things to consider when you have this kind of plot. The WPP is only used when someone acts as a witness in a trial and is usually involved in some way. They do what is known as 'turn states evidence.' Usually this involves a trial involving organized crime. In faking someone's death, a lot of falsified documents are involved. Death Certificate, Autopsy, Burial, Various Benefits for the survivor. My question is why would they lie anyway? A lot of professional licenses are on the line here. See? This story does seem pretty suspenseful, but I would say, once again, steer clear of the WPP and the Lie. Hope I helped. PJ M

The people I am talking about were always very scary and seemed like they didn't want to be found by someone... hmm... =S

I am.... Wait, no I'm not, I was just kidding, I didn't turn in the local crime boss and the mayor. It was not me. I am just a simple man who goes to work each day.

I don't really know my neighbors, so I guess they could be.
