I am an English only speaking American. I am intrested in moving to Europe for a while, but is there a job market for me? Is there a website with jobs posted looking for Americans. I would prefer Paris or Great Britian.

Actually it is pretty hard for the average American Joe to get a work permit in Europe. Unfortunately you did not mention your field, but: The situation for immigrants in Europe is similar to the situation of immigrants in the US. There would not be so many illegal immigrants if it was easy to get a residency permit and a work permit.
The only people with a decent chance of getting a work and residency permit in Europe are either recent graduates from a European uni (inlcuding masters or PhD) or people who have special talents. Computer experts are still sought as well as civil engineers. Holders of a PhD are welcome too if they have a job lined up. Spain actively recruits mainly civil engineers whose native language is Spanish in Latin America.
You'll need to be pretty good to convince a potential employer from an application submitted by email to hire you. And this is only a first step: After you've found somebody willing to hire you, you'll need to apply for a work permit. In a large number of cases the application is denied, because there are plenty of EU citizens and non-EU citizens already holding a residency permit who could do the job in question just as well.
If you are in medical, the UK could maybe be an option if your US qualifications are recognised in the UK.
Also the US Army/Airforce is often looking for civil employees for bases in Europe. You don't need a work permit for these jobs.

Europe is fun - I am thinking about moving there myself. You need a work permit; since u are American that should not be too difficult. Try Europe´s boomtowns such as Copenhagen, Malmoe, Hamburg ...many jobs available.
