comparing store brand 32" lcd TVs....?

I wonder if anyone has looked at the 500 dollar range of 32 inch TVs at target, Kmart, and Walmart, and which seemed like the best looking picture?

I haven't made that comparison, but when looking I have found that the major difference in quality seems to be tied to the contrast ratio-the higher the ratio the clearer the picture. I've been following them and looking for about a year now, but my stupid TV won't die (and I promised myself I wouldn't buy a new flat screen till it quit-I bought it in 1998 and just knew it would have quit by now)

I don't see as much difference in the DPI count as with the contrast, but, remember, DVD's are at 480 and HDTV is at 1080. we are supposed to go to HD completely in 2009. so your perfect buy would be a 1080 set with the highest contrast ratio you can find.
