Help I am stuck with what to buy...?

My husband just deployed and I am trying to figure out what to get him that won't take up space. I already sent one box and it was mostly food and some pictures. But I am wondering what would you have enjoyed to get while stuck on a ship? I already buy him video games each month so nothing along those lines. He already has an Ipod and his command is giving them cameras. And his birthday is in January. That is when I want the box to arrive. I know how long it takes. And this is our first deployment.

What do you think about the FSG sending a bowling set (plastic) for the command to make a "bowling league"? They are on a carrier.

Any ideas for the FSG to send to them also? We are just trying to find some ways to aleaviate the stress being gone over the holidays.

They have the porn rules, he is a yoemen and works nights... no need for weight gloves he just runs. And he gets magazines each month.

Get him somethings to remind him of his hobbies at home.  Have his paintball buddies come up with a box that is splattered with orange, yellow and red paint. Fill it with hunting catalogs, archery stuff and outdoor magazines.  Beats a red velvet box with a balloon inside tied to a pair of panties!  Good luck on those porn rules.  What the heck is that about anyway. Hope he has good weather for the Holidays.

they have porn rules, but I would assume that applies to actual porn not suggestive photos or make a recording of a one sided what if suggestive conversation put on the computer and make a mp3 out of it for his Ipod, my guess is that it would help him to know that you miss him that way.  You can combine this with some other thing that you could do via email or snail mail and like a game of chess or something along those lines and take small amounts of voice rec. during those times to keep a running conversation going. Hand written letters are always good. 

My guess is that he would much rather think about you than any other type of porn anyway.  For my DH alot of times suggestion is way better than any thing else he's not in the armed forces and never has been, but when he's gone out of town these are things he likes to keep us somewhat intiment while so far apart.
