Hey G, we can moan all we want about Detroit bad reputation, but we sort of deserve it. Now, don't bust my chops, but why in the world do we let the Michigan Central rail road Station just fall apart?

Heck, MCS is owned by Manny Maroun, the billionaire who owns the Ambassador Bridge. Why do we let that building just sit there?

We let the city fall apart, we elect lunatics to the city council, we have a 40 - 60 % school dropout rate, jeeze the list is too long to list.

I've read the article, it's the same old east coast slam on the D, which to me is funny because we have the friendliest people any where.

After living in Metro Detroit, I can say without a doubt the city of Detroit is dangerous. Most dangerous? I don't know, all I know is I felt uneasy about being there. Most Disrespected? I don't think so, I think all the thugs that want it to be dangerous brought that to the city, people are really stupid these days. The only people you can really blame for Detroit, is the people from Detroit. The city is racist, violent, and happy with it's secure placement at the top of the list as most dangerous.

Excuse me, but anyone debating that Detroit is not the most dangerous city is an idiot. It may not be the worst, but it is in the top 3.

I worked at Detroit City Airport for 5 years. I saw the worst of the worst in humanity. After that experience, I would walk the streets of South Central LA before I would go back their.

I was in Detroit in Sept. for a Kenny Chesney Concert, and I didn't have any problems, we even stayed right by the Stadium I think every city has it's good parts and bad parts, I live in the suburbs and was born and raised on the north side of Chicago and they use to talk about the south side all the time. I live 258 miles south from Joliet, IL and just because Joliet has Statesville Prison everyone thinks Joliet is bad, and some parts are very very nice, so I think its a bunch of hoop la!

I say most disrespected by the media.
Its obvious because the papers and the news channels never want to broadcast any of the good events or positive things about Detroit.
