I keep going to the assessors site and I enter the address and I keep getting a error message that states that the address does not exist. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you so much everyone who helped me out tonight.

The city clerk has that information. I, unfortunately, am not the city clerk.

wow everybody is trying to get you to call the assesors office. I disagree.

Call the county recorders office. Get a person on the phone they will give you the name of the person on the deed.

Or you can call any title company in your state they will give you the same information.

But I suggest calling the recorders office. They will tell you over the phone. If I knew your county I would tell you the number. Look up your county and call the recorders office.

the assessor's website doesn't find a property when it isn't a separate property ... suppose there are three houses on the same parcel -- only one tax record.

see if they have a map function that'll let you see the parcels in that area -- then you can choose by parcel number instead of address.

Go to that county's website. Look for real estate tax search, or GIS mapping. Put the address in, and you'll get the owner's name! Okie Dokie!
