I'm trying all kinds of distros, and the cd's are stacking up. I notice most can fit on my usb drive, is there a way after I download the distro I can put it on my usb stick and boot to it, then install if I like the distro?

i tried it with ubuntu on my 2 GB flash drive and it works fine
o by the way, you will have to mount your live cd image file as a virtual cd drive (using tools such as poweriso, daemon tools, alchol 120%). Becuase this guide assumes you have the live cd inside your cd drive. if you just mount it, the rest should work.
