The so called "biggest" polluters are also one of the richest people on earth, rich in terms of money nothing else.
So this money is paid to govt. and elected reps. to subsidize their products further so that more money can be made and.. so on there is no end to greed.
Logically if Solar/wind energy would have been funded and subsidized we would have had a much greener world today.

Well, they provide goods, services, jobs, investment opportunity and the tax base. I guess you might say that THEY subsidize US.
