I don't think that's possible. Why don't you arrange the meat and cheese on a platter alongside bread. Have another platter of lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced onion, etc. Your guests can make their own and get exactly what they want.

Before I retired, I used to pack bread in one ZipLoc and the meat and cheese etc in another. If I made the sandwich before I went to work, it gets soggy in 5 hours....Show more

I used to work at Target and they had these cresent sandwiches that they would prepare ahead of time. They would keep for a week but they only put meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomato on them. The mayo, mustard, oil and vinegar make it soggy. I would let your guests add the mayo, mustard and other stuff to their liking that way you don't have add the mayo and mustard last minute too.
I wouldn't prepare them too far in advance since you don't want the lettuce to wilt or discolor but I would wrap them individually in syran wrap to keep them fresh too....Show more

Sandwiches sog fast most of the time. Espeicially if you add sauces such as mayonaise or mustard.
I wouldnt suggest making them early on before your party.
However what you can do is prepare your items, such as slicing the tomatos, shredding the lettuce, avocados, pickles, preparing the meats, and storing these items in containers. Then when it comes time to putting the sandwiches together, it will be a bit faster..Or you can nicely display all of the condiments and have your guests make their own sandwich..this way they can customize their own with what they like and dont like.

Keep everything unassembled until close to time to serve or don't add the lettuce,tomatoes,salad dressing ,mustard etc until you all are ready to eat, or it will be soggy!...Show more
