In a few years, once space tourism becomes more accessible to the masses that people can purchase orbital flights, would a flat earther even dare go on such a flight? If so, seeing the round Earth for themselves, would they finally STFU?????
They should call it the "head in the sand society"

You've been checkin out ole' john slayer's questions. Yea man, I hope they do once space tourism is available. Speaking of, I hope that's gonna be relatively inexpensive. Seeing the earth would be.... ... . . a word I can't even think of to be better than the best word to describe this.
I'm not sure some of their members are just enjoying a little bit of "tounge in cheek" humor at our expense. If you are standing on a little flat patch of dirt your perception is that the Earth is flat. Now if you lived in a small area and weren't exposed to the whole world you might just believe that the world is flat. The rest of us recognize that the world is an oblate sphereiod (pear-shaped) and thereby avoid the delusions of the Flat Earthers.
Flat earthers are just ignorant,, and even after people go to regular space flights they will still be claiming the earth is flat,, Thats the most rediculous thing ive ever heard,
They should join with the BIBLE is true, and the Sun revolves around the Earth folks. Facts don't seem to matter, only the brainwashing they get as children.
Just go to flatearthsociety.com and be amazed. Of course it was founded by a bible thumper. fundamentalism is in itself amazing. More people have died fighting over God then any other cause. We are all on the same team. We are just arguing over who is the quarterback.
