Is anyone else going slowly insane with Yahoo!answers running that Gap commercial ad naseum?

I swear, if it keeps up, I'm out of here. It's an annoying commercial and it's repetition doesn't help. And often I'm listening to TV or radio or music and then I have to turn the sound off on my computer and then reset it. Can't they shut up? Can't Yahoo! give an option not to have to hear it?

Fact is, I've decided to seek greener pastures elsewhere. It just isn't any fun with that add and instead of dropping it, Yahoo will probably make new ones. And all the complaining to Yahoo won't do much, as anyone with a suggestion or complaint already knows. Thanks everyone, but I'm gone.

That GAP AD is so annoying! I found a way to get rid of it! If you download and run Firefox as your browser, there is an add on program you can install which will make it disappear totally off your page.

Simply do a search for Firefox then for the Firefox add on called Adblock. (I tried putting in the links but got a 999 message from Yahoo.)

Once you install both of those, look down in the very bottom right hand corner of your screen where you will see: Adblock. Click on it then disable the second item up from the very bottom of the list. (At least that what worked for me.)

Also, you can write an e-mail to Gap and let them know what you think about their obnoxious, senseless advertisement:

"gap.com Customer Service" <custserv@gap.com>

The most annoying thing since the bug ad. You can click on the side and turn it off but having to do it is annoying. I am so tired of multiple advertising programs on the internet and on TV as well. It's just too much input. All media has to stop with this advertisting ploy.

There is a little box with 2 lines going down in the center. Click on the left one and it will mute it. The one on the right will invite you to make your own ad. It's a pain every screen. Well now all of a sudden the mute button is not working.

WoW! The only times I've seen it is on your questions....maybe they are just giving you a hard time. I hate the GAP. I did inventory in one at the mall once and found out they were owned by crooked China-men. I wouldn't spend a dime in a communist owned store.

It's sure bothering me, and having the opposite effect in the process. No way I will pick GAP over others now!
