Compare Nissan Altima with the Maxima. I favored the Max but Cons Reports said Alt was better for less money.?

using Consumer Reports to judge cars is probably the worst thing you can do. Think for yourself. Talk to mechanics. According to Consumer Reports you should only buy a Honda and never buy American....Show more

The max is better than the altima, but the altima isn't bad at all.

You just spend a bit more on the max for more room, and more features. The max has more soft touch plastics in it and allot more room.

The altima is just a little bit smaller with a little bit less luxury. Since the altima is smaller and lighter it has a slight handling advantage over the max...Show more

The maxima is suppose to be the flagship car but the altima has more interior space than the altima and you can get the same engine size that the maxima comes with so best choice for your money should be the Altima...Show more
