What has been the longest you have waited for a prayer to be answered?

28 years. My husband and I wanted to move back to the part of the country that we love best, but his job situation and our family obligations prevented us. We helped my mom who was disabled until she died of cancer, then we cared for my father-in-law in our home for the last 11 years of his life. All that time, I kept asking God to help us get "home" again to Missouri, but everything prevented it.

My father-in-law died on December 15, two years ago. One month later (almost to the day), my husband walked in and said, "How would you like to move back to Missouri?"

Long story short: there was a sudden opening in his company in the very town that we loved, and the boss asked him if he'd 'mind' transferring back there! There are too many other answers to prayer to begin to mention here -- everything from how we sold our properties without ever listing them to an amazing set of things about the owners of the home that we bought here.

Some people might call that a "coincidence," but I call it a "God incident!" :-)...Show more

I'm still waiting on one pray that I prayed back when I was eight, but my normal answers comes within 24hr to 3 days. However; there are those prayers that God has say no to me on & the 1 that he has determine its not my time to recieved, So, I'm going to keep growing in God and waiting....Show more

Some prayers never answer because God has a plan. He will not answer prayers if they don't go with his plan. For all of you that think he doesn't care, he does!
