internet radio is a tough one for buyers. many offer banners on the player and other things associated with it, but the player is easily hidden and ignored, it is not a good focal point through which to advertise. You need to match advertisers with your listeners through your content with product placements, sponsorship liners within the shows themselves, your own website and newsletters. If you promote the show using traditional media (ie Using a billboard in NYC to tell people about the Sex with Sassy Show), come up with a promotion and give an advertiser logo space on that billboard.
Contests would work well, allow advertisers to interact directly with listeners through databases.
Do remotes, take your show on the road to potential advertiser locations.
Investors are easy - you get yourself in a boardroom with those old guys, shut the door, turn down the lights a little, look them right in the eyes and they will sign up immediately...just show them they can make some money.
Good luck
FYI - the guy 2 answers below copied my answers, so i must be right...

Nah; Germans in 1933 were way smarter than your popular American real winger in 2012. 2 words - Sarah Palin. If that pinhead can upward thrust to the accurate of the GOP puke pile, that tells you each and every thing you want to be sure about Republikkkan voters.
