Do you remember more of bad or good things in your life?
I’m just being curious. I want to know what matters most in your life. Does it mean if you
remember more of either good or bad things in your life then you focus on those
memories or what?

Hi Zimmy, so nice to have you back again.
Thankfully, my life has been a good one so far. I have my health and my family. There has been many bad moments too, mostly from what I have to deal with in my job. But I choose to learn from them and store them very far away, rather than carry them in the forefront of my mind. Remembering the bad would bring nothing but unhappiness and negativity into my life and would hinder me from achieving my goals. I like to remember the good moments individually for the impact and happiness that each incident brought into my life, especially if people were involved. Of course we will always have the bad along with the good, and that's basically what life is all about. It's up to the individual to choose the good or the bad, the happy or the sad.

First you should seek psychological counselling. It sounds like you may have an issue with bipolar disorder (AKA maic depression), but that is not something to be considered virtually. As for the theater, you have to "just do it"... In acting class we used to talk about "the monster" (AKA fear) and it was said that the monster grows the longer you give it a chance to hang around. So I suggest doing whatever you can to get up on stage (preferably in a smaller low pressure situation) to get over the proverbial hump and see how you feel. This is not going to magically make all of you negative freelings go away but at least you can keep moving forward. You refer to someone as "my director" what is the connection, is this professional where you work in a troupe? Academic as in someone at a school? Or like a community theater type thing, because if that director makes you feel uncomfortable you need to understand why. Oh and emotional pain tends to make people more sensitive not less. People who have been hurt tend to be defensive preventing further pain but it doesn't make it hurt any less.

I remember most of the good things in life. I found with myself that even the bad things in life over time becomes ' not too bad' times either. Time changes the bad things in life and you tend the think back saying that things was not too bad.

The good ones I remember, the bad ones I fight with until they are defeated and forgotten. So I would say, I remember more good ones. I suppose I'm one of those people that refer to the good old times when talking about the past.
