No it is not good for him cats/kittens need a lot more protein and other minerals and vitamins than dogs do. Try mixing the kitten food and the puppy food, it could be he just likes the dish the dog is using, cats are fussy critters, it is part of what makes them so irresistible! Or you could try putting the puppy food in the kitty bowl and visa versa so you can se if it's the dish or the food.

Puppies can eat chicken, you will find that most dog food dry and wet is made with chicken.
Hot dogs are not good for dogs at all, it causes them to form pancreantitis.
Turkey is okay for dogs to have it is also used in a lot of dog foods.
Bananas are definitely not good for dogs, fruit makes them sick.
Bread is fine for dogs to have, but it shouldn't be part of their regular diet. It is not very good for them to have, because it has yeast.
Rice is good for dogs to have.M dog loves it when you mix the rice into her dry food, and it is also in a lot of dog foods that you would buy.
Apples aren't good for dogs, it is fruit dogs are mainly carnivores.
Barbecue sauce isn't the best thing for dogs to have, but it is okay every one and a while if it is on meat.
If you have some type of food residue on your fingers and your dog licks your fingers, it won't get sick, don't worry so much.
Although since your puppy is only 4 months old don't give it table-scraps.
Here is an answer that I gave to someone else, it might help you with your problems.
Well for puppies vetrinarians recomend that they are fed 1 1/2 cups 2-3 times a day - morning, noon and night. Then when they get older reduce it to twice a day even as adult dogs the vets say it's better for them to have about 1 1/2 cups twice a day!
When they are that young it is better not to start the off with canned food, but at around three or four monthes you can begin mixing it in with their food, straight canned food makes some dogs sick. You don't have to give them canned food at all, but it makes food more interesting for the dog, and getting variety packs helps too since the same thing everyday can get pretty boring!
When your dog gets to be about four or five monthes you can gradually start feeding them twice a day try not to make the changes to fast or it wil totally confuse the dog! ♥
