Are you irritated by the number of bad line calls by line judges?

Bad calls have always been part of tennis but with the advent of Hawk Eye, it doesn't have to be. What changes should be made about over-ruling a bad call to be fair to players?

I don't have an issue with the system, other than it is only available on a few courts. Out of thousands of shots per match they miss what 10 calls per day and that is generous. How many times have you played and you werent sure if a ball was in or out? They are doing their best and I know I sure as hell couldnt do their job, especially at night.

As for players if they are so weak mentally that they cant move on they deserve to lose and get the hell out of the tournament (RODDICK). They should be more concerned about their own play and their opponents than a few missed calls, especially when over half their challenges are incorrect.

I'm definitely irritated, it's not fair for players, however, I don't think there should be any punishment, because the linemen's work is really difficult, the balls go too fast, and you know those bad calls are probably on balls that are an inch out or in, it's really difficult.

its all part of the game, the line judges are human so they are prone to commit mistakes, besides its their judgement. there is now the hawk eye which settles the dispute. the result of the review is a two way system which favors both players

For the number of calls that umpires make per day, even per year. Only a small percentage of them are incorrect. That's a fairly good effort, especially when they're under lots of scrutiny from technology and the players.

Sport is a game of luck, let's keep it that way. You have your bad call, and you have one that goes for you. It all evens out.

no, they are only human and its very hard to call those balls because they are going so fast. that is why they have the challenge system. i think they do a pretty gud job.
