Rebate Check Question. I am single and had a baby in 6/07, should I get $600, $900 or what?
I have been claiming single, and 0 dependents even after my child was born. Income if helpful for 07 should be about 24-25,000.

When you file your 2007 tax return, if you claimed your kid on it, then you will get 900. If the other parent (or someone other than you) claimed your kid, THEY will get the extra 300 and you only 600.

You did or will claim your child on the '07 return so you should get your $600 + the $300 for your child.
