Hey bw69r....I take my bike on the bike trail from Cedar towards West Newton...go down 2 park benches along the trail (about 1/2 mile) there is a great hole there for trout (don't tell anybody) ha ha

little 10mile in amity pa i've been using berkley trout worms in cheese color on a a bleeding hook from gamakatsu and a small splitshot above and i caught 20 in 2hrs. I've also fish linden creek right under the rt 519 bridge in 84 and drifted waxies and meal worms also the gulp maggot bait in the jar and the where hitting like crazy. i had about a foot of line under the float and i was good to go. i fish the yough river from cedar creek park to west newton and i have been catching them on night crawlers and panther martin spinners. i also have had good luck using a one sixteenth ounce jig head tipped with with a berkley trout worm. for bigger trout i use a rapala shad rap or a large white rooster tail spinner. bigger fish , bigger bait. right now there is too many chunks of ice coming down river to get out and fish , its been really cold and it doesn't seem to want to get warmer but if it does i will be back out.

I like to troll. If I am trolling for rainbows or browns I hook up with a night crawler then green power bait in tip of hook. If you miss a strike when they hit the power bait they will hit again for the crawler. When I want Kokes or rainbow. I use lead core line a 25 ft of 2 to 4 lb leader with a bikinni colored needlefish tiped with white corn. Either a very dsmall flasher or no flasher. Dont like large hardware.
