Any retired teachers out there know where to find an "E-Z Grader Self Adding Average Finder?"?

I have spoken with the company, the item was discontinued long ago.

I live among an Old Order Amish Community, and my neighbor is one of the teachers. He has used this device for years, but it has broken and he would like to have a replacement of some kind.

Of course, using a computer or calculator is not an option, but go ahead and have a giggle if you must.

Any ideas?

I'm familiar with the handheld slide card-style aids, and I know such average finders are on the market, but I don't understand what the "self-adding" part of your neighbor's card refers to. ??? If you could explain it a little more, that might help us figure out a suitable substitute.

In the meantime, if he's looking for a replacement that's the exact brand of his discontinued old one, the only other thing that occurs to me is to post on Craigs Lists in various cities. I'm sure someone out there still has one....
