Wifi connection taking longer and longer to start up?
Seems as time goes on with Vista----my wifi on my notebook takes longer and longer to boot up. When I first got it---connected in a few seconds, now its minutes.
Anybody else notice this?

This can happen if you get too many "preferred" networks with the same SSID. Go to the wireless settings, clear the table of preferred networks, and see if you get better response.
It can also happen if you and a neighbor use the same SSID (so many people just use the default and that causes real issues!) Login to your router and change to a unique ID which your computer will see immediately and that also speeds up connections!
