I think I'm going to die, and I'm scared?

I have growth up and down my spine. I don't know if it's cancer or not, and won't until the end of the month. I have no family around, no friends. I've been a hermit for a long time, except for on here. I don't want answers, just support, and maybe an email or two. I'm all alone, and I'm in serious pain, and I'm terrified. I know the people on here are caring, and I need some of that.
peace

Don't feel scared, you can change your illness into complete health with your will, it is scientifically true. IN Latin there is a saying " carpe diem" it means " cease life/ live every moment" because you only live once. So, if there is only moments in our life we have to got hope and live. God bless you. email me inorder to know yours.

Is that appointment on the 29th when you'll get test results, or will it be the first time seeing the neurosuregon? You shouldn't have to wait that long to see a doctor if you might have cancer! There ought to be something you can do to speed up that appointment. Does anyone else on here know what that would be?

I would also recommend you talk to a therapist or join a cancer support group. Both can help a lot. There are lots of support groups on the Internet where you can talk to people about whatever you're going through.

Do you have any family you could get back in touch with? Or any old friends? Even if you don't have good friends now, what about a good friend from high school or college? Even if you haven't been in touch with them for years, it's worth a try. They probably still think about you sometimes and wonder how you are.

Don't be afraid to accept help from others, if anyone reaches out to you.

I really hope things get easier for you.

I have osteo-arthritis in the severe degenerative stages, with severe neurological damages. I've had surgery eight times on my spine, now they can't do any more.
I live on pills and in pain. I know how you feel. If they took all the necessary test that I think they did, they should be able to give you an idea by now. If they are tumors, most in these areas are benign tumors, they can be removed easily.
You would have had some sign by now according to the seriousness of the disease.

I am all but totally handi-capped. I can't be on my feet for more then several hours with the future looking at a wheel chair.
I keep busy to keep my mind off my problems. If I sat and wondered, I would go crazy.

If you like, leave a dot com for me I'll contact you.

The testing is the longest and most emotionally challenging stage. But through that you need a real person to talk to and be your support. Try to talk to a friend or a family member so you have someone to talk to.

Have they done biopsy's to know what is happening? The biopsy's are usually first. If the just tell you a name of what they think you have you can actively research your health. Being informed and not in the dark is VERY helpful.

God Be With you and Good Luck.
