I am Chinese and I want a tattoo but I am not sure what to get?

Yes I know, Chinese tattoos are very popular and most of them are wrong or do not make sense. but I want to get it because I am Chinese. I can not read Chinese but my Dad can.

I was thinking about 活笑愛 活笑爱 live laugh love but its so cliche. I want something different. I was also thinking of 我爱你 我愛你 i love you.
I kind of want something with little sister 妹妹 because my younger sister and I are close.
Can anyone think of something less cliche but meaningful?

and does anyone know if Seize the Day would translate right and what it would look like?

I want the tattoo going down my back. And it is hard to ask my dad because he does not know I am getting a tattoo. He would kill me because he is very traditional and will think I am just trying to get some guy's attention.

My computer is racist - all I see is boxes instead of Chinese characters.

If you are Chinese, you should get English words tattoo'd on your body - get "live laugh love", but do it in English... it'd be the inverse of what all these vapid white girls are doing.

活笑愛 does not make any sense and 我愛你, 妹妹 are not good tattoos.

I'm assuming you're a girl? If you like something that express the closeness of you and your sister, I would suggest 姊妹 instead. which means sisters.

ive never liked chinese tattoos on people that are NOT chinese. but since you are you should defenately get a chinese tattoo. i think you should ask your dad. who better? i mean he does know chinese. maybe instead of little sister. you should get big brother. because you are a big brother. not a little sister. maybe when your little sister gets older she would get little sister. also i think you should research or ask your dad about your culture and get something that has to do.

maybe ask him to translate stuff, but don't tell him what it's for, or that it's for some one else..though it's not good to go behind their back..
you could but little sister on your back, as into say "she's got my back"
i think that would be cool, and is (somewhat) unique
