How can i give my boyfriend the hint?

so, obivously valentines day is coming up. my boyfriend isnt really the type of person who could come up with the idea to plan a special evening by himself. i would really like if hed do something special for me.. like make me a nice dinner or anything romantic along those lines. i dont want a gift from him.. i just want a special night for just the two of us. how can i let him know this without just blatantly saying it?

Why dont you suggest a nice evening in, and tell him you would like to cook a romantic meal TOGETHER. That way, you get what you want, and you get to spend time with him. Maybe he could make a main dish and then you could make a dessert , melt some chocolate and pour it over strawberries and have a romantic night in cuddling. I am not sure how old you guys are, but this should work for most couples :) To tell you the truth, the worst thing is hope for some romantic thing and then be upset he didnt live up to your Valentines Day standards. So, do something together so that doesnt happen. My fiance and I are keeping it a night in, with fondue, and just cooking a simple dinner and eating fruits and dippin in chocolate for dessert. Good Luck and remember, dont put too much pressure on your man! Enjoy each others company and then call it a night!! Hope this helps!

It's a guy thing. Lot of guys aren't into romantic stuff because that's how we're conditioned and raised in our culture. But it doesn't mean that your time together isn't less special to him, ok? Staying inside, drinking beer and playing video games might be his idea of romantic. I think it's perfectly o.k. to express your feelings about wanting to have a special evening and ask for his input. I would not saying anything along the lines that will put him on the defensive, like accusing him of being unromantic or not caring. Again, a lot of guys are just not romantic.

Why dont YOU suprise HIM. Have a romantice meal ready for him when he gets in, lead a trail of rose petals to the table or to the bed, cover the place with candles (obviously as safe as you can, we dont want any accidents!!) have the champagne ready when he gets in and why not prepare something seductive like oysters, etc. I tell you theres not many guys that expect something like that to happen so when it does what a suprise itd be!

YOu cant, he wont get it. You can hint and hint and hit a man over the head with a clue or even give him money to go buy one and he still won't get one. You have to tell him, spell it out for him, and tell him again.
