How can i install 1394 connection?

We have broadband connection w/ 100mbps(with 1394 connection) before but now our connection lowers down to 10mbps(without 1394) PLS HELP ME TO INSTALL 1394 connection again pls!

1394 is the FireWire specification and has nothing to do with networking in this sense.

To the techies who will come here and say you can network over FireWire because of RFC 2734, clearly this person is not trying to use FireWire in this way as it is not an ad-hoc connection.
