Is there such a thing as competitive snow-shoveling? Wouldn't it be great?

I have been thinking for years that comeptitive snow-shoveling, such as racing to clean a 4 x 30 foot sidewalk completely of snow, would make an excellent athletic event. It takes strength, endurance, technique and and understanding of types of snow and ice and which shovels work best for the various types of snow. Think of team events! High school or community competitions!
Has anyone ever heard of such an event? Wouldn't it make a great sport?

Well it'd certainly build upper-body strength!

How about snowblower races?

I actually do hold snow shoveling competitions between my son and his friends whenever it snows. But he is getting almost old enough to figure out that I'm really just gathering free labor...

They have competitive window washing, I'd be surprised if there's noone out there who hasn't tried to do this.

Well,
In case my snow blower fails to start-certainly more than welcome to use my place to train and practice.

Tired of winter though
