Is it possible to dip a glass bottle or wooden box in silver?

Please, if you don't know the answer, don't submit one.

Rather than dipping your box or bottle in molten silver (which would be hot enough to make the wood spontaneously combust, I'd wager) probably isn't your best bet for getting a coating of silver.

Electroplating is. I've provided a link below of a do-it-yourself silver plating kit. Because your bottle or box isn't metal, you'll want to apply a special metal paint, so that you can get the silver coating to stick.

Note: this isn't cheap.
