well I tell you what CNS I think we should all meet at gate 1 seeing that is where Barbaro is due to be buried. That way if they have the temp memorial up for him this year we can pay our respects. As for how we will recognize each other I say each member that is going email me your address and t-shirt size. I will then run to walmart and buy some t-shirts and transfr paper. I'll make each of us a t-shirt that has "the Group's" name on it so we can spot each other! I'll then mail them to you accordingly:) How does that sound? Or instead of the group names I'll make them say our Y!A Id names on them

for example your t-shirt would say "cnsdubies horsae poops trolls... or cnsdubie" Muley's would say
"E\xpensive red dotting mule" or "mulereiner"

Mine would be "can chaser/troll hater or my orginal name of B_N_B

OR I'll make them have the word TROLLs on it with that red circle and line meaning NO TROLLS hahahahahah

I wouldn't do the hat thing b/c EVERYONE at the derby wears weird hats!! I like the name tag id

Ok I actually live about 10 mins. from Churchill Downs. I'd say meet at the starbucks, its right down the street and they will have shuttles going pratically everywhere. Or you could meet at a hotel believe hotels shuttle. The Clarion hotel (its on Bluegrass Parkway) is a bit of a drive to the Downs but they shuttle for free. I used to work there, thats how I know, that way you can meet in a place thats not so wild and then hang out either before or after.
Ask the other people what their going to wear. A lot of people wear the wild hats. You could ask them to wear a shaw of a certain color. Usually with my family that I haven't seen in a long time we meet at a hotel and will meet at the resturant but we'll meet the bathrooms. don't ask me why but thats what we do lol.
The Downs will be so crowded theres no good meeting place. Security is very tight, you can't bring a cooler, bring lots of money besides gambling but the food's expensive. If you like to drink get the Mint Julip, its very famous around Derby time....Show more

I would have everyone meet around the gift store, or a certain entrance gate.

I would also do the signifying identity thing with either a flower on the hat that was loud, so everyone could see it, or clothing of a certain color. Plus a code word :) To many freaks out there that would just say yes to the persons name :)

Also exchange cell phone numbers and have them ready to call to find the person.

Noooo, I wish I could, but not enough time off with the brothers wedding. I have 2 wks off in June and my boss was already sqwaking about that lol. Theres a cruise I want to go to in November, but don't have anyone to babysit my son for a week, so thats a no go :(

Here's what we do... lol... we have everyone meet at the entrance of Fourth Street downtown, and have a taxi or a limo pick us up to take us to the track. That way, you all get there together, and there's no wandering around looking like an idiot. lol...Show more
